April 27, 2010 Our business is the business of differentiation. The sales of agricultural products have traditionally taken a commodity approach. This achieves the end of moving the product from producer to consumer but often at an inappropriate value. So, our business is all about trying new ways to market differentiated produce from leading producer to targeted customer.
The first working days and months of 2010 have been spent getting a paddock to plate lamb supply chain called Five Star Lamb up and running; this project is going to keep us occupied for many months.
Making this happen is proving both challenging and rewarding.
Our two branded services are co-op and source;
Co-op builds effective supply chains between primary producers and targeted retail customers. Source builds relationships between targeted premium retailers and leading food producers.
